Sakikasane: .43 cm. / .17 in. Mekugi-ana: 1 Description: This mumei piece is estimated to be early shinto from the Kanbun period (1661-1673). The saya is new made with burgundy red lacquer. The tsuka is older possibly early 1900’s and the tusba is a modern reproduction of an early piece. Shakudo over copper habaki. The blade is slight koshizori with ko-kissaki and iroi mune. Itame/mokume hada with very slight gunome based on suguha hamon. Boshi is komaru. Nakago appears to be ubu, with kiri yasurime and slight kurijiri.
